Add to Home Screen
No app store needed — add it to your home screen and launch it like any other app.
iPhone · iPad (Safari)
Tap the Share button (⬆︎) at the bottom.
Choose "Add to Home Screen".
Tap "Add" in the top right to finish.
Android (Chrome)
Tap the 3-dot menu (⋮) in the top right.
Choose "Install app" or "Add to Home Screen".
Tap "Install" to finish.
Once added, it launches even without an internet connection.
HOW TO USE
How to Use
PLAYER — speed, key, looping
Load an audio file and the waveform appears.
Adjust SPEED and KEY with the slider, number input, or buttons — whichever you prefer. Changing speed keeps the pitch, changing key keeps the speed.
Drag on the waveform to set that section as a loop. Tapping the waveform only moves the position — start playback with the play button. To clear the loop, press the ↻ button above the waveform on the right.
Save spots you return to often as markers with "+", then jump there with one tap.
GAME — Beat Hit
Pick a tempo and play a rhythm game along with the default beat.
Tap the screen or press space the moment the circle reaches the target.
Getting audio into this app
On Android, you can select Omakase Player directly from KakaoTalk or the Files app's share menu (just add the app to your home screen once first).
That said, iPhone blocks this — Omakase Player won't appear in KakaoTalk or Mail's share menu there. Going through the Files app once solves this.
Received via KakaoTalk
Long-press the file and choose "Save" (saved to the Files app on iPhone, or Downloads on Android).
Open Omakase Player, tap "Tap to choose", and select the file you just saved.
Received as an email attachment
Tap the attachment and choose "Save to Files".
From there, load it the same way as with KakaoTalk.
Received via AirDrop — iPhone
When it arrives, choose "Save to Files".
Then load it the same way with "Tap to choose".
Already saved on your device
Just use "Tap to choose", or drag and drop the file onto the screen.
Why doesn't it show up in the share sheet on iPhone?
iPhone doesn't allow home-screen-added apps like this one to appear in the share sheet. It's not something a setting can fix — please use the method above instead.
